ABOUT THE NAME

“Where y’at?” is a typical greeting exchanged by people from New Orleans, my hometown (although I live in the UK now).  It is said to have originated with local musicians, both to say hello and inquire where their counterparts were gigging.  Now, it’s my name in War Robots – a hello and a question at the same time.  It’s shorthand for “how ya doing?” and “you about to get shot!” Update note 6 August 2019 - in game name is "Dr. Yat."

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Where y’at?, phD, is Professor Emeritus in the School of Blastonomics and Beaconology at War Robots University.  Dr. Yat relentlessly probes the boundaries of all maps and tactics looking for new pathways to victory.  When not playing War Robots, Yat is a social studies teacher and dad of 3 boys.
