Dr. Zoso Says Center Is For Suckers!

Fellow Pilots,
The professors at War Robots University practically make their living in the game (and on the blog) by working the sides of the map.  With cloaked jumping robots rapidly becoming the most effective tactic available (the "meta"), we've been impressed by Inquisitor's ability to go almost anywhere and do damn near anything.

Our guide to using the Inquisitor for flanking was the subject of an article for the official War Robots site.  Now that this evil war machine is being delivered to every active pilot via supply drops, we figured some more sample play would be helpful.

Here, we have two new videos featuring the big fella as the first pawn on the chess board (yes, he's a pretty strong pawn!).  First, in a relatively easy win at Canyons, we worked the far right side of the map to the enemy team's chagrin.

Next, we thought all was lost on Valley until we attacked the far right side and broke the enemy loose from their stranglehold on the middle of the map.

Hope your supply drops are getting you a new toy!
Drink strong beer, eat great food, and don't apologize for it ...
Dr. Z

  1. Should you only engage when you have the stealth jump to maximize damage output, but limit the damage that you take? Or is that not necessary?

    1. I think it’s best, like when piloting a Griffin, to hold the jump for a critical escape moment. Like the Spectre, you will learn to play opportunities, but don’t get greedy!

    2. Always have an escape route planned, eh?

    3. Easier said than done, I know, but we think that's the way to play the Inquisitor.
